These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of InkLab (“InkLab”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), an AI-augmented book writing service. By registering, ordering, or using any part of our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our service.
InkLab provides AI-augmented writing assistance to help clients transform their expertise, ideas, and source material into manuscript-format books. The client is the sole author of any work produced. All intellectual content, ideas, expertise, anecdotes, frameworks, opinions, and stories originate exclusively from the client. InkLab’s role is limited to organizing, drafting, structuring, and refining the client’s input into book form using AI-augmented production workflows.
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued once writing has commenced on a paid order. Sample chapters provided through our free registration are offered without obligation and at no charge. Once a paid order is placed and payment is verified, work begins immediately and no refunds are issued under any circumstances — including but not limited to dissatisfaction with tone, style, length, structure, subjective quality, or change of mind.
Upon delivery and full payment, the client owns 100% of the delivered manuscript and all related content. InkLab retains no rights, claims, licenses, or royalty interests of any kind over delivered work. The client is free to publish, modify, sell, or distribute the manuscript on any platform under any imprint without further permission from or compensation to InkLab.
InkLab will not disclose client identity, book topic, manuscript content, or any project details to any third party without the client’s written consent, except where required by law. Internal team members and AI processing tools used in production are subject to confidentiality obligations.
Output quality depends entirely on the richness, accuracy, and completeness of information provided by the client during the intake process. InkLab makes no guarantees of commercial success, Amazon ranking, sales performance, reader reception, critical reception, awards, media coverage, or publishability. The client is solely responsible for fact-checking, verifying claims, and ensuring all content complies with applicable laws including but not limited to defamation, copyright, and disclosure regulations.
Delivery of manuscript files does not guarantee acceptance by Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), Apple Books, Google Play Books, IngramSpark, or any other publishing platform, retailer, agent, or traditional publisher. Publishing decisions and ongoing platform compliance rest solely with the client. InkLab is not responsible for content removal, account suspension, or rejection by any platform.
All payments are non-refundable. Orders are confirmed only after payment is manually verified by InkLab. InkLab reserves the right to cancel and refuse to fulfill orders where payment cannot be verified, where the source of funds is unclear, or where the order appears fraudulent. Chargebacks initiated against verified payments will be disputed using these Terms as evidence of the no-refund agreement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InkLab’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific order giving rise to the claim. InkLab is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages — including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunities, reputational harm, or emotional distress — even if InkLab has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
The client warrants that all source material, ideas, anecdotes, and information provided to InkLab are original to the client or used with appropriate permission, and do not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights. The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless InkLab from any third-party claims arising from material provided by the client or from the client’s subsequent use of the delivered manuscript.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
InkLab reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. The effective version of the Terms is the version published on this page at the time of order. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
